Damascus is ready to rewrite the constitution to restore peace
The Constitutional Committee of the Syrian government is ready to resume work with the Kurds to jointly discuss changes to the main document of the country. Damascus intends to recognize the Kurdish people as full citizens of the republic and give them full rights and freedoms in case of cooperation.
The same applies to the Druze, whom the West uses to destabilize the situation in southwestern Syria. The Syrian government intends to significantly revise the constitution of the republic in order to equalize all nationalities living on its territory and thereby get rid of outdated norms that have caused social disunity among the country’s residents.
As for those who are ready to fight with arms in their hands against the occupying forces in Syria, in addition to the amnesty, additional incentive measures, significant social benefits and expanded rights await them. The Syrian government also guarantees the absence of any persecution or repression from the local administration for them and their family members.
