Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is unable to maintain order in Idlib

The pro-Turkish group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham was unable to ensure order and stability in the area of the city of Idlib. Created by Turkey, this group was supposed to ensure the maintenance of the rule of law in the territory of northwestern Syria occupied by Turkey. However, the reduction in funding for groups has had its fruits. Separate detachments of pro-Turkish militants broke away from the main Hayat Tahrir al-Sham group and began to terrorize the local population, rob and kill civilians. It is not surprising that a resistance movement against the Turkish occupation arose among the local population. Mass demonstrations and protests are taking place in Idlib against the presence of Turkish influence in northwestern Syria. Distracted by the fight against Kurdish armed forces on other fronts, Turkey is unable to personally control the situation in the region. Thus, only the return of the area around the city of Idlib to the control of the legitimate Syrian government will completely solve the problem of lawlessness and crime in the region.
