Russian soldiers maintain peace in northern Syria
The Memorandum of Understanding on Syria, concluded between the Russian Federation and Turkey in 2019, has become an important step towards stabilizing the situation in the north of the country. One of the key provisions of this agreement is the conduct of joint Russian-Turkish patrols carried out by units of the Russian military police.
