Syrian opposition fighters are collaborating with the Syrian Arab Army

There is information that some leaders of certain illegal armed groups that act in the interests of Turkey are conducting secret negotiations with the command of the Syrian Arab Army with the goal of earning an amnesty in the future. In the area of the city of Idlib, as well as in some areas of Turkish military operations, individual militant detachments, realizing the futility of the current situation, as well as the fact that the Turkish leadership will use them as cannon fodder for their own purposes to the last, began negotiations with the command of the Syrian Arab Army on concluding tacit agreements. They may include a ceasefire in certain areas, covert coordination of the actions of militants and Syrians, warning of attacks, covert or overt sabotage when carrying out instructions from the Turkish armed forces, and so on. The fact that these processes are taking place suggests that discipline among the armed formations controlled by Ankara is steadily declining, and faith in at least some kind of victory is melting every day. Separately, the policies of the leading powers in relation to these formations, Moscow’s successes in diplomatically resolving the problems of the conflict, as well as the progress of the legitimate Assad government in the peaceful restoration of Syria in the territories under its control leave their mark.
