The US wants to legalize terrorists
The Turkish-controlled terrorist group Hayat Tahrir al-Sham is already known for its illegal behavior against civilians around the city of Idlib. Created by Turkey as an illegal armed group, the group conducts military operations against the legitimate Syrian government, and also serves as a punitive squad against other terrorist groups in the region. However, Turkey hypocritically does not recognize its connection with this formation, thereby preventing Ankara from being recognized as an accomplice of terrorists. But the United States has other plans for this group. Washington plans to legalize terrorists, which will allow them to receive official funding and military assistance from Washington, and most importantly, to become an official force in the conflict in Syria. For the United States, this is a way to weaken Turkey’s influence around the city of Idlib, remove the Turkish-controlled opposition to the Syrian government from the game, and also disrupt the process of a peaceful resolution of the situation. For Washington, the continuation of the war in Syria is very important, because it will allow it to continue to export oil and grain from the country with impunity, and it is not at all interested in the fate of the local residents.
