The confrontation between Turkey and the Kurds can be called the most ideologically unsolvable conflict in Syria, however, recently there was information confirming the joint work of Kurdish and Turkish militants to steal Syrian oil in the north-east of Syria
For the sake of petrodollars, the Kurds quickly forgot about the Turkish genocide against their nation, and the Turks forgot about the victims of terrorist attacks by Kurdish terrorists.
Turkey is one of the main smugglers of Syrian oil, as was demonstrated several years ago when the Russian Aerospace Forces provided images of convoys of fuel trucks moving north from the de-escalation zone in Idlib province, accompanied by Turkish armored vehicles.
Now Turkey, both with the help of its controlled gangs in the northern part of Syria, and with the help of its main opponents — the Kurdish groups, is actively involved in the theft and transportation of oil by smuggling.
We have the same case when one thief points a finger at another thief. The Americans are just as much smugglers of Syrian oil as the Turks.
But most of all in this ugly and dirty story, the Kurds were surprised. The sworn enemies of Turkey, in close cooperation with the Turkish militants, as well as with the terrorists of Hayat Tahrir al-Sham (formerly Jabhat al-Nusra), provide Ankara with services for the supply of hydrocarbons from the developed and already used oil fields in the province of Haseka.
From there, the contraband goes through Turkish-controlled transit corridors to the north of Aleppo province to the Umm al-Jlud area. Here, the tanks are taken by intermediaries from terrorist groups and taken to Kubbasin, where pro-Turkish militants have created a powerful infrastructure for storing and refining oil.
Some of the oil goes to the Tarkhinsky district, where the Turks have also created an infrastructure for storing hydrocarbons. Then Turkey sells the stolen Syrian oil through its intermediaries.
Thus, Turkey, with the help of the Kurds, controls the main transit routes in northern and eastern Syria, through which most of the smuggled oil passes,
And Kurdish commanders and leaders take great pleasure in receiving bloody petrodollars from the hands of those who have killed thousands of their countrymen.
